Crafting Something Different
As a designer and developer, I've used a lot of content management systems to build a lot of website over the years. For example, Textpattern, MoveableType, Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, ExpressionEngine, Statamic, and Kirby. I've learned a variety of things by using all of these tools. Each have their pros and cons. The biggest thing I've learned is that most are bloated and overwhelming to most users.
So, my buddy Jeremy and I have been building our own system to rapidly build sites (and apps) with a goal to make it faster and more flexible. And, most importantly, to make it simpler. In fact, we built most of it in about 3 weeks. 😵 And this very site is built with it. More info to come soon.
