Crafting Something Different
As a designer and developer, I've used a lot of Content Management Systems over the years. For example, Textpattern, MoveableType, Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, ExpressionEngine, Statamic, and Kirby. I've learned some things by using all of these tools. Each have their pros and cons. The biggest thing I've learned is that most are bloated and overwhelming to most users.
So my buddy Jeremy and I have been building our own framework to rapidly build sites (and apps) with a goal to make it faster and more flexible. And, make the user interface simpler for our customers to manage it. In fact, we built most of it in about 3 weeks. 😵 And this very site is built with it.
